For 6 and a half years I worked full time in creative marketing at Avid. I contributed to interactive projects through every phase of development, including: concept, content, design, production, quality assurance, installation and project completion.
Avid Support, Services and Training

Clarity and support: what customers look for when systems go down. But a tangle of messaging and options is what they found on the old Avid support website.
I co-produced a branding overhaul with a look and feel that focused on customers, their options, and their success stories.
A writer and I reorganized the copy into digestible chunks. And we used black and white photography of real-world customers* who rely on Avid support.
The result was a stunned head of product marketing who asked how soon it could be implemented.

Video: The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus

Roles: Producer
Sell-offs, layoffs — people were wondering if Avid was done. We needed to show them we still supported the most watched, most listened-to, most loved TV, music and film in the world.
I co-directed the creative concept for this video for an event in Las Vegas at NAMM 2013 (National Association of Music Merchants) that highlighted our proud sponsorship of The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus.
The VP of marketing got the ball rolling with a pitch for a video: a parody of the 1994 movie Speed, with Keanu Reeves.
I mapped out a new strategy that followed the spirit of his idea, but focused more on solving the issue of our customers’ perception. We needed to restore customer confidence and highlight the strengths of Avid’s reputation. We dropped the movie parody and focused on throwing a party on the bus with the band Fitz and the Tantrums.
He loved it.
